Abstract

Doped rare-earth polycrystalline La2-xNdxCoMnO6 (x=0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 & 2.0) double perovskites have been synthesized by sol-gel auto-combustion method. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the single phase with a monoclinic structure having the P21/n space group in all samples. The resistivity measurements show the semiconducting behavior with increasing current in the temperature range 303-493K. The activation energy values i.e., 0.15, 0.23, 0.28, 0.28, and 0.22 eV have also been calculated by Arrhenius plot. The dielectric measurements have shown as the frequency increases the dielectric constant increases smoothly and becomes constant at high frequency.
